Please enter take the steps to remove an outdated video card drivers and install an updated driver.
My computer came with a Nvidia TNT2 Riva Model 64 and I think the last update of this graphics card is version 71.89.
After removing my old drivers, how do I install the update, which I've downloaded? What are the steps?
When I install the drivers from my slave drive, how do I go for the update and how do I install it in reality?
I know how to download the updated drivers, but I do not know how to go about installing it.
When you install the update that caused problems with my graphics card, I wish I could go back and my new driver (currently installed) old. How do I do that?
I need clear instructions about this process, please. I thank you all for your help.
The reason verbage to explain to both my question, because it was a matter inconsistent with the previous one, told me be very clear about what I asked. I hope that's clear.

Please make sure that (especially with Nvidia) that completely uninstall the driver first of the former, then restart the computer when the computer tries to restart the drivers to install, click Close. Your screen will probably be terrible at this point. Double-click the Nvidia drivers downloaded and installed, the computer will ask you to restart your computer and restart it will work. Now you can play with your choice so you can see how you like.
NVIDIA in any case, you can install on a different driver, but that's not a good option and can cause major problems for you, espcially you try the next time an update. Lastely, you must use only WHQL certified drivers for Windows beta drivers ... NO! It is the driver you have with XP, you:
ForceWare Release 80
Version: 84,21
Published: 17 March 2006
WHQL Certified *
The last driver version is 84.21 and I looked at the file and corres for your card. Just go to Nvidia and download the file to your Documents folder. Use your antivirus program to ensure that they are virus free. (I, free) of viruses, then you open the software and automatically controls the Nvidia folder.
Just double-click the downloaded driver update and follow the instructions on the screen.
As for reinstalling the old drivers to do the same, but of course with the oldest.
